Hello there! Signature colors are important to your brand’s style and personality. Using your colors consistently create almost a trigger from your audience. They look for it. They expect it and that consistency even brings them comfort. Strange I know, but it’s true! When I see the signature rich lavender and grey colors grace my Instagram or Facebook feed, I know for certain that it’s Amanda Little John (my personal branding crush <3) sharing some amazing tips on how to build a creditable brand.
If you know me, you’ll know that I stick with black, white and I love golds. But I would say my signature “pop” of color is red. Red lips. Red polish.
Do you have a signature brand color? In an article on this very topic, Forbes suggests that you pick one to use in all of your communications and resist the urge to use all 64 colors in a box of Crayola crayons (if this is you…please stop…smiley face). Select the color that best represents your brand and that conveys your authentic and differentiating brand attributes. Then use it everywhere!
