When you think life is too hard…think again!
If you’ve ever hiked a 14er, you’ll know that it’s no joke…whopping the tail of some of the most fit and most confident. You’ll also know that the challenge is as much mental as it is physical. It comes down to what think you can do and what you think you can’t do. Grays Peak was my first mountaineering, mind-conquering conquest and Mt. Bierstadt was my second. Standing from the ground and staring up to the top of the peak, it looks impossible. But when you finally get to the top (4 or so hours later), you can look down and say you did the impossible. You simply had to make up your mind to overcome your mind! This is faith…the evidence of things unseen (Heb. 11:1).
Below is a MUST SEE video about a man who never thought life was too hard and who never let what looked impossible dictate his reality. Think of him when you start making excuses or think about throwing in the towel. Then shake yourself, adjust your perspective and push on!
“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matt. 17:20
